In February 2021, I was invited to speak to MoJ policymakers about what they can learn from philosophers. Alongside two colleagues, we discussed issues such as ethical trade policy, philosophy and criminal justice reform, and how to integrate various ethical values into a single policy.
I was excited to receive follow-up emails with further in-depth questions from people who had attended the event. I was very encouraged that policy professionals value philosophical insights!
